Italian Food

As you know Italy is very famous for its food. And maybe you are planning a trip to Italy just because you want to eat something very good.

In the following post I will try to give you as much information as I can, regarding food.

Where to go for nice pasta?

What do I have to eat in this region?

How do I have to eat this dishes?

Generally it’s difficult to find a place when you don’t eat a good food in Italy but you are here for holiday and you have to find the best place and the cheapest one. And of course an amazing food. First of all you have to know that every region in Italy has got its typical dishes.

We will open different post where We will write all the Italian typical food.

For example, I will never buy a Milanese risotto in the south of Italy but for sure I will order a nice seafood pasta. This is not because the Milanese risotto is not good in the south of Italy, but it’s a specialty of another region, and maybe they can do it better in the north. Follow our post and you will find a lot of Italian food specialty…

As I told you each region has got typical food. And each region has got its typical wine.

There are a lot of wines in Italy, and some of that are produced in very small quantity. This limited production gives importance to the wine but also the price will be higher than others.

Wines from south of Italy are usually stronger than others, also because weather is different in that region and it’s more warm than in the north.

I’m sure you know some Italian famous wine like Barolo, Chianti, maybe the Prosecco.

But I don’t know if you have ever heard about Amarone, or Sangiovese, or Passito di Pantelleria.

We will try to give you as much information that we can about these wines but of course, I think that the best thing you can do is to come and taste it.

We cannot offer you a glass of wine from this blog (I really want it) but I’m sure that if you follow us you will have a lot of information that will help you to taste food and wine in your next trip to Italy.
